Two linked memberships, one simple idea
ShorePointe is your points account. RCI is your travel account.
ShorePointe Resort Club: where your points live
- A pure points program, not a traditional timeshare. There are no weeks to own, sell or transfer.
- You hold an annual package of Access Points, kept in your ShorePointe account until you need them.
- Your membership is yours for life while annual dues are paid, and you can sell or transfer it any time.
- RCI-affiliated resort, ID# DB95.
RCI Points Platinum: where you book your travel
- Every new member is enrolled in RCI Points Platinum, RCI’s top membership tier.
- Use points for resort stays, or pay cash for Extra and Last Call Vacations.
- Book hotels, cars, cruises, activities and flights through RCI Travel®.
- Your RCI account stays active as long as your annual RCI fee is paid.
How points work
- Call ShorePointe at 208-264-0397 when you start planning a trip.
- Buy only the points you need at 1.5¢ per Access Point, with no minimum or maximum. For example, 50,000 points is $750.
- We transfer them to your RCI Points account. ShorePointe charges no transfer fee.
- Book your vacation in your RCI Points account.
Only pay for the points you need, when you need them. You’re never required to buy Access Points you don’t request.
Key dates & fees
Both memberships run on an anniversary year that starts in the month you first enrolled, not the calendar year.

Booking your vacation with RCI
RCI has been the largest vacation exchange company since the 1970s, with 6,500+ affiliated resorts in 100+ countries. Book RCI vacations at affiliated resorts, and use RCI Travel® for everything else.

Insider tip: watch for last-minute deals. A studio, 1- or 2-bedroom unit can drop to just 7,500 points for a full week, and RCI runs sales on all three types year-round.

Sharing your membership
You can add up to five co-owners to your RCI Points account, and book vacations for family and friends too.
Co-owners
You can have 1 to 5 co-owners on your RCI Points account. Call ShorePointe to add or remove one and we’ll walk you through it.
- An RCI Travel Guide can help co-owners on your account.
- Co-owners don’t have direct access to your RCI Points account online.
- Co-owners don’t receive RCI materials or mailings.
Two ways a co-owner can book an RCI vacation:
1. The co-owner calls RCI. An RCI Travel Guide makes the reservation in the co-owner’s name.
2. You book online, then transfer it. Book on RCI.com in your name, then call or chat with an RCI Travel Guide to change it to your co-owner’s name.
On RCI Travel it’s simpler: book hotels, cars, cruises, activities and flights directly in your co-owner’s name.
Family & friends
Use an RCI Guest Certificate to put a vacation you’ve booked in a family member’s or friend’s name. As a Platinum member, you get 25% off Guest Certificates, and you can transfer points to another RCI Points member for free.
Your membership, your choice
No long-term lock-in. Keep your membership as long as you like, and transfer, will or sell it whenever you choose. If you decide to retire your membership, give ShorePointe 30 days’ notice.
Your RCI Points Platinum benefits
Platinum is RCI’s top membership tier. Here’s what it adds on top of a standard RCI membership.
Ask for a bigger unit or a different resort. If one opens within two weeks of check-in, RCI updates your booking and lets you know.

Frequently asked questions
Is my membership based on the calendar year or an anniversary year?
An anniversary year, starting from the month you first enrolled. This applies to both your SPRC and RCI memberships.
Do my Access Points show up in my RCI account automatically each year?
No. They’re held in your ShorePointe account until you’re ready to plan a trip, so you only pay for the points you need.
How do I get points into my RCI Points account?
Call ShorePointe to buy the points you need at 1.5¢ each. We’ll transfer them to your RCI Points account at no charge.
Can I book vacations for family and friends?
Yes. Use an RCI Guest Certificate, which Platinum members get at 25% off.
Am I locked into a long-term contract?
No. Keep your membership as long as you like, and transfer, will or sell it any time. To retire it, give ShorePointe 30 days’ notice.
